A precision outdoor window thermometer, mercury-free, made of transparent plastic. It has special ends - holders with adhesive tape that enable fixing the thermometer (without having to drill holes) to window frames made of plastic, aluminium or wood. The holders also feature openings thanks to which you can additionally fix the thermometer with screws if necessary. It is worth underlining that the device can be installed either on right or left side of the window.

This thermometer allows checking temperature within the range from -50°C to +50°C, with low error tolerance of +/- 1°C, and is based on a thermometric liquid, consisting of a mixture of toluene (which is used as a solvent) and kerosene, and a dye. Thus, you do not need to worry that hazardous mercury will flow out of the device in the even of accidental shattering! The thermometer is made of white plastic and features a scale printed on a cardboard underlay and placed inside a glass tube. Thanks to the durable metal casing and chrome-plated handles, it will retain its attractive appearance for a very long time! The device is characterised by easy installation - the handles of the thermometer feature not only openings, but also pieces of adhesive tape, making this instrument quick and simple to fix (either on the right or left side of the window).

PLEASE NOTE: It is best to fix the thermometer at a spot that is not exposed to direct sunlight. Excessive insolation may lead to fading of the print on the underlay. The direct impact of solar radiation – particularly in the summer - may cause the temperature to rise above 50°C, leading to expansion of the liquid and breakage of the capillary. The thermometer can be installed either on right or left side of the window. In order to change the direction of its installation it is necessary to turn the thermometer handles without removing them from the plugs.
