Fermentation lock (water lock) of glass
It is a classic water lock of glass and suitable for fermentation vessels up to 25 liters.
Made of glass with a diameter of 8.5 mm.
Are tuned to the hole in our different rubber caps.
Approved for contact with food.

USE:
The fermentation lock is filled with water to protect the contents of the fermentation process for oxygen saturation, while the regular recovery of carbon dioxide produced during the fermentation process can leave the bottle via the water lock. It is important that you always water the water seal, forgetting may result in an excessively high oxygen supply in the bottle, which in turn results in oxidation from ethanol to acetic acid. Failure to keep the water seal properly can also lead to fruit flies in the bottle.
PAY ATTENTION :
If you have limited time to check the water seal, you can also fill it with a less rapidly evaporating oily liquid.
