Poultry Plucker (medium) NAT-45

Thise poultry plucker is specially designed for hobby poultry keepers.
Partly to the dimensions of the drum, this machine is particularly suitable for smaller poultry, for example, quails, pigeons, and chickens.
This machine is ideal for the removal of the feathers without damaging the skin. After the animal is anesthetized and slain in a quick and most humane way, one immerses the animal after it has been bled in warm water (60 to 80 °) for about 5 minutes. Then you put the animal in the drum of the plucker and turn on the machine. The picking process takes between 15 to 30 seconds depending on the number and the kind of poultry. Important for a good picking result is the size of the inside of the drum, there must be enough space. Because of its size is this plucker ideal for private chicken holders.

Poultry plucking machine; motor body, gear motor, rotating disc, plucking drum with a feather discharge chute and chicken plucking fingers.

This patented model contains no intermediate elements such as disc or gear, so there are no problems with lubrication, belt breakage and loosening and thus has practically no costs under normal use and maintenance.

The absence of intermediate elements, the special arrangement of the picking fingers and the extra soft finger material reduce friction. While the electricity consumption drops to 50%, and the system works more quietly.

It is manufactured from Food Grade plastic by a mold injection method. It is durable, robust and long lasting.
The plucking fingers are made of natural rubber in a special structure and formulation.
It provides an efficient way of removal without damaging the skin. It successfully plucks young and old chickens.
It leaves no feathers, even on the wings and tail, which are normally difficult to pluck.

Wat een fijne machine! Wij hadden eerst een grote metalen plukmachine maar deze was van alles te groot, te zwaar en te lomp. Deze is erg handzaam, precies groot genoeg voor ons en doet wat het moet doen. Pluspunt voor ons is dat hij niet te zwaar is en eenvoudig kan worden weggezet.
